MS. FRANCES CHEN

Frances Chen is the Head of Sustainability, ASEAN, at HSBC. She oversees the delivery of HSBC’s net zero and wider sustainability agenda in Singapore and ASEAN. In addition to supporting engagements with staff and clients, she also works closely with key external stakeholders, including regulators, industry peers and partners, and NGOs, to help shape an enabling ecosystem for advancing net zero and sustainability.

Prior to joining HSBC, Frances worked at KPMG Singapore and Taiwan, where she advised listed companies on their sustainability strategies and initiatives. She has over 10 years of experiences working on sustainability in both the private and non-profit sectors.

Frances holds a MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Geography from The George Washington University.
