Joko Siswanto is the Director of Sustainable Finance, Department of Surveillance & Integrated Financial Services Sector Policy of the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). He leads the directorate that coordinates and develops policies, prepares infrastructure, and monitors the implementation of sustainable finance in the financial services sector and conducts cooperation with national and international stakeholders.


Joko has over 27 years of professional experience in the financial services regulator. His areas of work include the International Department, the Banking Research and Regulation Department and the Legal Department. He holds a Doctor of Law from Universitas Padjadjaran Bandung (2024); Master of Law (2020) and Bachelor of Law (2014) from Universitas Nasional Jakarta; Master of Science in Economics from The University of Birmingham UK (2004), and Bachelor of Economics from Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta (1996).


His current work in sustainable finance covers various areas such as Sustainable Finance Roadmap, Indonesia Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance, preparation for the adoption of sustainability disclosures (IFRS S1 and S2), and other related sustainable finance policies. At the regional level, he serves as Vice Chair of Working Group 1- Conceptual Framework and Principles of ASEAN Taxonomy Board, to develop ASEAN Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance.
